REBO Media Productions is a 100% Black Owned South African registered media and technology company, with a business focus to supply media production services including satellite uplink facilities, content production, branded activations and digital on-air promos to all broadcasters in the rest of Africa and globally.

We provide satellite uplink facilities, produce live and recorded events, branded activations, and digital on-air promotions. Every service is designed to help clients broadcast their services and products with clarity. We create ideas that generate renewable and successful partnerships with the client whilst meeting the demands of an ever-evolving media landscape.

our FOUNDER

SIBONISO NGUBANE

Our technical department is headed by Siboniso Ngubane, who boasts a number of years’ experience in dealing with production houses across the Africa continent and beyond whilst he was employed at SuperSport International.

Boasting 17-years of service as a MultiChoice Group Employee in various departments, Siboniso Ngubane has gathered vast experience from broadcast technology, Pay TV customer care and various TV production knowledge.

Various productions including the Nigeria Professional Football League, Ghana Football League, Ghana Boxing Events, GOtv Boxing Events in Nigeria, International Table Tennis Federation Tournaments across the continent, Roland Garros Grand Slam Tennis Tournament in Paris, CAF Africa Cup Of Nations Finals in South Africa 2013, Equatorial Guinea 2015, Gabon 2017, Egypt 2019 and Cameroon 2021. Also travelled to various FIFA World Cup finals as an ENG Producer and these included the 2010 Finals in South Africa, 2014 Finals in Brazil, 2018 Finals in Russia and the 2022 Finals in Qatar. Also did the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup Finals in France.

Have produced and supplied ENG equipment and personnel for various Golf Tournaments across the Africa continent including all Nigeria PGA events, Pro-Ams in Kenya, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana and Uganda.

Relevant production work experience engaging with people in particular positions of influence and importance such as politicians, academic representatives and C-Level business leaders. (Was part of and lead the team that produced, amongst others, the President Barrack Obama visit to Kenya in July 2015, the BBC Ebola World Debate in Accra, Ghana – February 2015. Hosted by Zeinab Badawi. Also covered several Political rallies across Nigeria.

Equipped with a lot of experience in dealing with a number of MultiChoice stakeholders including Football League Federations across Africa, different Sports Genre Organisations and different service providers including technical equipment suppliers in broadcast technology
